Global Taxi Networks Website & Service

Policy:

  • Policies and procedures are subject to change. While every effort is made to ensure that all the information on this web site is updated and correct, Global Taxi Networks will not be held responsible for any loss, direct or indirect, resulting from use of this information.
  • Conduct of driver and passenger need to be adhered to as set out by the National Taxi Regulator of the countries on the itinerary.
  • Global Taxi Networks are not an actual Transport provider but provides an on line service that connects a customer with a Transport provider in any county nationally.
  • Any bookings that a customer makes and the Transport provider accepts are regarded as a contract agreed between the customer and the Transport provider.

Data & Privacy:

The information collected from you at the time you make your booking will be stored in our database and is used purely to carry out your instructions and action your payment.

There are no circumstances under which, this information will be passed to a third party other than Government authorities of countries in your itinerary where a legal right for them to access this information exists. This information is known as "Advance Passenger Information".

Name, address and contact telephone number will be issued to the Transport Provider only for the purposes of contacting the customer and will be discarded once the journey is completed and administration process is concluded

Supply:

We undertake to supply you with the service described in these Web Pages.

Contact:

We will only contact you in connection with your instructions and keep you well informed should we have any difficulties providing you with a particular service, to be provided as specified.

It is very important that we have the correct telephone/ mobile number as your driver will initiate contact with you to ensure you receive the professional service you require.

Delivery:

We at Global Taxi Networks will ensure your instructions are fulfilled as per your booking.

Please be advised that it is your responsibility to ensure all data that you the customer, enter in to our booking page is correct, as we do not accept any responsibility for a Transport service not being provided due to misspelling, incorrect addresses, incorrect flight details or incorrect contact telephone numbers.

In respect to bad weather conditions, the Transport provider will do their very best to deliver our service, but for the safety of you the customer and the Transport driver, if the conditions are so bad that your safety could be jeopardised and the booking cannot take place, the transport provider fulfilling that booking will contact Global Taxi Networks and you directly and will inform us of the situation and if possible make alternative arrangements for you.

If alternative arrangements cannot be made a full refund will be made to the customer via on-line banking less Global Taxi Networks service charges within 30 day as per our refund policy.

Charges:

All journeys are calculated based upon the national taxi rate however peak traffic times have already been calculated into your fare. Any other request from the customer to the driver i.e. stop for a period of time during the journey, go to a different location other than was specified in the original booking will entail a cash payment negotiable with your driver. This will be at the discretion of the driver.

There is a further charge of 30euro on executive cars.

All road toll, parking or ferry charges are to be paid by the customer in cash and a receipt will be given for same.

Tipping, whilst always welcome, is not calculated into fares and this will be at the discretion of the customer when journey is completed.

Cancellations or Delays:

It is the responsibility of you the customer to inform the transport provider (number provided on your journey voucher), if you are delayed for your journey at the booking time specified and if you wish to change your pick up time, the transport provider will try and accommodate your request.

You can delay your pick up time by a maximum of 8 hours from the original pickup time. This may be done only once for each booking.

If you wish to amend or cancel a booking before the specified pick up time then the client must do so 2 hours in advance of the pickup time through the Global Taxi Networks website.

When a booking has been allocated by the Transport Provider to the driver, the driver will contact the customer by phone to confirm booking times immediately. At this point the customer has the option of delaying the booking time, once only.

In the case of a cancellation on the booking date two hours notice must be given to Global Taxi Networks for a refund less service charge and an email will be sent to the customer confirming the cancellation.

On confirmation from the customer, a refund will be made through Realex (an on line secure payment company) to the customer account less Global Taxi Networks charges.

If the driver cannot make contact with the customer, he will continue on with the booking. On arrival to the pickup point, the driver will contact hotel/company reception or use the meet and greet service, confirming the booking. He will wait a maximum 10 minutes beyond the pickup time. If the customer fails to appear, the driver will inform the Transport Provider of a no contact and leave. The driver will receive full payment for inconvenience and no refunds will be made to the client. Booking times can only be adjusted once with the Transport provider.

Journey Vouchers:

It is imperative that you have your journey voucher with you when starting your journey, as this voucher contains a unique journey code and is confirmation of your booking and payment of your Transport. In the event that you have mislaid, lost or forgotten your journey voucher, you will have 3 options in retrieving the same:-

  1. Retrieving code from your booking on your computer.
  2. Contacting your business
  3. Contact Global Taxi Networks via transport provider (Driver will do this upon contact with you). In this event, once Global Taxi Networks confirms your identity, we will text you your unique journey code which you can then issue to the driver.

Global Taxi Networks will not issue unique journey codes to Transport Providers or drivers.

Vehicles:

At all times our Transport Providers will do their utmost to supply the type of vehicle that you have requested, but in the event that your vehicle request is not available, the Transport provider will supply an alternative vehicle/s as per the original payment with no extra costs to you.

The Transport Provider will contact the customer 3 hours before pick up time with the alternative vehicle arrangements.

If these arrangements are not to your satisfaction, a full refund will be made less Global Taxi Networks charges via Realex.

Global Taxi Networks do not accept any responsibility for any direct or in-direct loss.

Refunds:

In the event of a booking not being fulfilled due to weather conditions or reasons beyond the Transport provider’s control, a full refund will be sent back to your Credit Card Company less Global Taxi Networks charges within 30 days. Our priority is to provide service excellence and to maintain a good working relationship with you our customer.

Payment:

All payments are made through your credit card. Fares calculated and accepted by the customer, will be deducted from your credit card securely via Realex until confirmation of booking completed is sent. Any information in relation to your credit card will not be stored by Global Taxi Networks and is encrypted using 128 bit SSL encryption whilst being sent to be processed by our secure payment system providers Realex

VAT:

Vat is inclusive of the total calculated fare. VAT is only paid on the service that Global Taxi Networks offers and not on the cost of the Transport journey as these are VAT exempt.

Complaints:

We are dedicated in providing you with a first class Transport service and do not envisage any unsatisfactory situations, but in the case that you, our valued customer, are not happy with the service that we have provided, please do not hesitate to contact us through our contact page and we will do everything possible to correct that situation. We will respond to you as soon as we have investigated your complaint.

Final Note:

The on line service we are providing allows customers to have full administration of transport expenditure over a rolling 12 month period. We offer cost effective management, employee traceability, accountability and an increase in employee productivity. Your unique administration log in will allow your company to issue individual employees with a sub log in to account for their national transport requirements initially and international services will be available in the very near future.
